Pakistan beat Zimbabwe by 6 wickets in the first T20 match.
In the T20 opener played at Pindi Cricket Stadium, Zimbabwe won the draw and chose to beat first and scored 156 points for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
For Zimbabwe, Madhevere played an unbeaten round of 70. Apart from them, Sean Williams scored 25, Elton Chigumbura 21 and Brendon Taylor 20 points.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf and Wahab Riaz took two wickets each while Mohammad Hasnain and Usman Qadir took one wicket each.
In response, the Pakistani team easily reached the goal thanks to Captain Babar Azam’s 82 races. Besides them, Mohammad Hafeez scored 36 points and Fakhr Zaman 19 points.
For Zimbabwe, Muzarabani took two wickets while Chatara and Ngarawa took one wicket each.
Pakistan have a zero lead in the T20 three-game series.
The second game of the series will be played on Sunday, November 8, while the third and final game will be played on Tuesday, November 10.
