The 59th Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) board meeting was held today (Monday) in Lahore.
According to details, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) made a profit of 3.8 billion rupees in 2019-2020.
Several important decisions were taken during the PCB Board of Governors meeting. The Board of Directors of the CCP approved the appointment of 4 new independent members. Members include Javed Qureshi, Arif Saeed, Asim Wajid, and Alia Zafar.

Javed Qureshi and Arif Saeed were appointed for three years while Asim Wajid and Alia Zafar were appointed for two years.
CCP President Ehsan Mani said:
“I welcome the newly appointed independent members to the BoG, in particular Ms. Alia Zafar, the first independent woman, which represents a giant step forward in improving the governance structure of the PCB.
“The four new members bring with them a wealth of diverse knowledge that will only improve the professional outlook and the functioning of the CCP. These four people are highly respected and recognized performers in their respective professional lives and we wish to use their knowledge in our efforts to improve our governance.
The Board of Governors congratulated the Council on hosting the national cricket season despite the difficult circumstances and welcomed the conduct of the remaining four matches of the PSL Five.
The meeting also confirmed the positive progress in touring the National Cricket Team in South Africa. The Board of Governors also appreciated the statement made by the Council of England during its visit to Pakistan in January.
It was informed during the meeting that the PCB made a profit of 3.8 billion rupees in 2019-2020.
