EASTENDERS planning massive bomb story with Brian Conley’s new character
West End comedian, performer, and versatile entertainment legend Brian Conley makes his Albert Square debut as the character of Terry Cant in just over a week on the BBC1 soap EastEnders, and fans are promised a bombshell script to accompany his appearance, which will apparently involve a huge shock to one of Walford’s main characters.
After posting pictures of Conley’s soap opera debut, a BBC spokesperson said: “Rainie crosses paths with a man looking for Albert Square – his name is Terry Cant”, and it turns out that Long is Sonia Fowler (played by Natalie Cassidy) -lost father, according to rte.ie.
Jon Sen, executive producer of EastEnders said in February when announcing Conley’s casting, said: “We had been looking for a while, but by the time we met Brian we instantly knew we had found our man ”.
Adding: “Brian is a talented artist whose charm, wit and charisma are exactly the qualities we want in Terry. We have some wonderful stories in store for him and we can’t wait for audiences to see Brian bring him to life ”.
EastEnders fans must wait until Tuesday, May 18 for the episode, but you can still catch the soap opera every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. on BBC1 and RTÉ One in Ireland.
